What is an AI app builder?

An AI app builder helps create or modify project code from natural-language descriptions of pages, features and data. A working application still needs real dependencies, frontend and backend contracts, and verification. A generated interface alone does not mean every feature is complete.

From requirements to a preview in Lingying

1. Define the audience, the problem, pages, data storage requirements and interface languages.
2. Describe the app in Code and select a website, mini program or app project type. You can also open an existing local project in the desktop app.
3. Review the plan and project files, confirm data sources and interactions, and request specific changes. Keep example data separate from real business data.
4. Start the preview and check dependencies, runtime status, pages and key flows. If a backend is needed, verify its interfaces and data persistence too.
5. Refine the project from the preview. Before publishing, check the deployment environment, authentication and access permissions, actual costs and required project settings.

An event registration website for an international audience

Create an event registration website in English and Chinese, with event details, dates and time zones, capacity, a registration form and submission results. An administrator can review registrations. Explain where form data is stored and how administrator access works. Start with a version I can preview.

What to check：Both languages have complete content; dates and time zones are clear; submissions, duplicate entries and full capacity have real feedback; registration data persists and is protected by permissions.

A personal habit tracker

Create a habit-tracking web app with new habits, daily check-ins and weekly summaries. Explain whether it uses local storage or authenticated cloud storage. Do not show statistics without actual records behind them.

What to check：Adding, editing and checking in work; data survives refresh according to the chosen storage approach; summaries are calculated from records; the mobile layout does not overflow.

A project board for a small team

Create a project board with To do, In progress and Done columns. I can create, edit and move tasks, each with an owner, due date and notes. Explain whether shared team access and a backend are included; do not simulate those capabilities only in the interface.

What to check：Task state persists; due dates and owners remain consistent; shared access is used only when implemented; changes to an existing project preserve its data and working flows.

Designed for creators across regions

Lingying is designed for global markets, with an English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese interface and public documentation. Web and desktop experiences, Code and Work let creators start from an idea or continue an existing project.

For an international app, specify languages, time zones, date formats, currencies and storage requirements. Language support does not automatically implement every region's payment, legal or deployment requirements. Verify them for your project and target market.
